Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. TIG uses cookies to help TIG identify and track visitors, their usage of the TIG website, and their website access preferences. TIG website visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using TIG websites, with the drawback that certain features of TIG’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

How Is the Information Used?

We use your personal information to provide you with personalized service; to send e-mail alerts to you; to answer your requests; etc. You may choose to opt out at any time, which will cease all communications from us. We may also use your information to track visitor traffic of our website. This lets us see which of our features are the most popular so we can better serve our users’ needs. It also lets us provide aggregate data about our traffic (not identifying you personally, but showing how many visitors used which features, for example) to outside parties.

Sharing Information

We may use third parties to assist with the Services and may disclose PII to them as needed for them to perform specific tasks under our instruction, subject to this policy.  We do not sell any of the PII collected nor do we provide your information to third parties for the purposes of them marketing their products to you.

Data Security and Retention

We employ physical, technical, and administrative procedures to safeguard the personal information we collect online.  However, we cannot fully ensure or warrant the security of any PII you transmit via this website and you transmit such information at your own risk.

We retain PII as long as necessary to fulfill our business relationship, as needed to fulfill our legal requirements, or until you request that we securely destroy your PII.

Children’s Privacy
